What we can offer

Young Technicians Academy provides courses, sessions, clubs and opportunities to learn every aspect of the Live Events and Arts Industry.

We always expect our members to have fun as well as providing a robust learning and creative environment.

We have included some of the different things we have to offer here at The Academy.

Academy Workshops

Workshops are an opportunity for departments to run specialised one-off courses focused around a specific topic or goal.

Ages 8 - 19*

We believe every musician should be able to have the opportunity to perform, join a band, or record an album

Ages 11 - 19

We are an alternative education provider delivering programmes to young people in schools, colleges, community centres, pupil referral units and young offender units - as well as at our own, purpose built facility.

Ages: 5 – 19

All LAPA classes will work towards a Limelight Academy of Performing Arts qualification certificate.

Ages 11 - 18

All Media Production classes will work towards a Young Technicians Academy qualification certificate.

Ages: 7 - 11

All Lighting Production classes will work towards a Young Technicians Academy qualification certificate.

Ages: 11 - 18

All Live Events classes will work towards a Young Technicians Academy qualification certificate.

Ages: 11 - 18

All Music Production & Sampling classes will work towards a Young Technicians Academy qualification certificate.

School Courses

Students at both primary and secondary schools can register with Young Technicians CIC on a rolling membership

Ages: 7 - 11

All Junior Coding Club classes will work towards a Young Technicians Academy qualification certificate.
